Please arrive 30 minutes BEFORE your scheduled departure time. This allows time for parking, signing waivers, using restrooms, and receiving our safety briefing and operating instructions. Arriving early ensures you get your full time on the water.

We have an on-site parking lot. During busy holidays and weekends, parking may take extra time, so please plan accordingly.

If you’re running late, please call us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to adjust your time slot and maximize your time on the water. However, during busy holidays and weekends, we may not be able to accommodate schedule changes. Please choose a rental time that works well for your group.

You must be 21 years of age to rent a boat.

Yes, you may dock at public docks and restaurants during your rental. Anchors are not provided, but public docking is allowed.

No boating license is required. However, we recommend obtaining a California Boater Safety Card for the best experience on the water. We provide a full safety and operating briefing before every rental to ensure you’re comfortable before departure.

  • Water (reusable water bottles preferred)
  • Sunscreen (rub-on preferred)
  • Sunglasses, Hats
  • Swimsuits
  • Towels
  • Jackets and layers
  • Food, cups, and drinks
  • We can provide a cooler

Alcohol:
  • Alcohol is permitted, but drivers may not consume alcohol.

Yes. We provide U.S. Coast Guard–approved lifejackets for every passenger, including infants and children. Lifejackets are available in sizes Infant through 4XL.

Lifejackets are required at all times for jet skiing, tubing, and for children under 13 (USCG law).You are welcome to bring your own Coast Guard–approved lifejacket.

Puddle jumpers are not permitted, as they are not Coast Guard–approved.

Yes, upgrades or boat changes are possible based on availability. Please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

We do not allow overnight or multi-day rentals. However, we offer a Rewards Program for customers who rent multiple times per year.

Yes!

Returning customers can join our Rewards Program (punch card system). On your third rental, you’ll receive two hours free.

We also offer discounted off-season rates during Spring and Fall.

Cancellation Policy: We ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. We understand that illness and unexpected events happen—please call us, and we’ll work with you to cancel or reschedule.

Weather Policy: Lake Tahoe weather can change quickly. If we cancel due to unsafe conditions, we will reschedule your rental or provide a refund if rescheduling isn’t possible.

Fuel is not included in bareboat rentals. Boats are filled before and after your rental, and you only pay for what you use.
Current fuel rate: $9.29 per gallon

Estimated usage:
Half Day: 10–15 gallons
Full Day: 15–30 gallons

These are estimates only. Actual fuel use varies based on speed, activities, engine run time, and conditions.

Yes, we are pet-friendly. A $35 pet cleaning fee applies.

Gratuity is not included. If your dock attendant provides above-and-beyond service, tipping is greatly appreciated.

Yes! Swimming is allowed. We require:
  • At least one adult to remain on the boat at all times
  • Awareness of wind and drifting conditions
  • The engine must be turned off when anyone is within 10 feet of the boat
  • Always check the water before starting the engine or entering the captain’s chair

Yes. There is no minimum passenger age. All children under 13 years old are required by law to wear a lifejacket at all times. We provide all necessary lifejackets. We highly recommend morning rentals for families with young children, as the lake is usually calmer and better aligned with nap schedules.

No, our boats do not have onboard restrooms.

Yes. You must have a valid California or Nevada fishing license, depending on your location on the lake.

Yes. You can rent tubes, skis, or wakeboards from Tahoe Marine Supply, located right next to us. No reservations are required.
